JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities: Perform surveillance and triage of alarm events; Manage trouble ticket queues; Administer Change Management Activity Calls (Splice Open/Close, Collo Arrival); Assist Surveillance Engineers when requested; Be a focal point for internal and external entities during maintenance, repair and installation of AboveNet facilities and sub-systems e.g. UPS, Air-conditioning systems etc; Ensure proper and complete files are maintained in relation to facilities access.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Degree: High School Diploma OR G.E.D.; Work Experience(# of years): 2+ years; Computer Skills: Ability to operate comfortably in Windows 98/NT/2K/XP helpful; Other: Knowledge of basic building systems helpful, e.g. HVAC, Power, Etc., but not required.
