JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mindbank Consulting Group is seeking an MIS Support/Help Desk consultant for a contract to hire position with a favored client located in Herndon, VA. Position Summary: Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Essential Job Functions: Maintain inventory for all corporate MIS equipment (Laptops, servers, cell phones, network devices, MSDN library); Administrate (changes/adds/deletes) of Corporate Email accounts; Administrate (changes/adds/deletes) of Corporate file server accounts; Administrate (changes/adds/deletes) of phone system (Lucent Definity system and Cell phones) for new hires; Administer our corporate firewalls, printers, wireless and wired network equipment; Administer our corporate VPN; Administer our corporate Windows 2003 and Linux servers; Administer our corporate backup systems.
