JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mindbank is seeking a technical lead, and lead developer for a 10 person development team that is responsible for the design and development of J2EE applications. The selected candidate must possess strong web design and development experience and have a proven background in leading technical web development initiatives. Duties include: Serve as an overall senior architect and developer for all applications analysis, design and development activities Ensure project quality by conducting frequent and thorough internal document, design and code reviews Mentoring staff on the use of industry best practices Assist in defining application release schedules; defining task assignments; adherence to project schedule Ensuring that effective configuration management is followed Attend client meetings and summarize the technical requirements as necessary Ensuring project quality and encourage and promote a teamwork environment TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree At least 6 years of OOA/OOD experience At least 5 years of Java experience At least 3 years of experience building J2EE applications Struts ORM methodology - Toplink/Hibernate Data modeling and design Desired Skills: Workflow engines Oracle, PostgreSQL Spring Framework This position requires that applicants be subjected to a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
