JOB DESCRIPTION:
Daily work as a lead Java/J2EE Developer. This role is responsible for problem resolution with existing code that is in a production environment and also redesign of application to J2EE architecture. The lead will need to troubleshoot production and defect issues. This will include understanding the issue, determining potential solutions, and following the solution through to successful completion. The lead will need to code, unit test, document all solutions as assigned to them. They will need to then support the entire lifecycle of the promotion to production process. They will also need to review and advise on code created from other team members, and mentor junior associates. The lead will be responsible along with providing a leadership role for managing the customer and any issues.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
US Residency, B.S./B.A. or equivalent work experience, 10 years development experience or equivalent, 3 Years Java/J2EE development experience. Requires combination of two or more of the following; Struts, LDAP, Toplink, BEA, SYBASE ASE 12.5/EAS 2.5 PVCS/ANT. Outstanding written and verbal skills required to interact with clients, senior management, and developers. Java, design/develop using Java; use/perform Communicates with Impact Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE); design/develop using Java Data Objects (JDO); design/develop using Java 2 EE Connector Architecture (JCA); design/develop using Java Web Services; design/develop using Java Messaging services; design/develop Service Oriented Architecture. Experience in Broadvision application server and data modeling a plus. Use Case Development; Java Development Kit (JDK) required.
