JOB DESCRIPTION:
US Citizenship required. No clearance necessary. Background check required. Provide online Windows 2000/2003 and Exchange 2003 network support, including installing, configuring, customizing, optimizing, integrating, & troubleshooting Windows NT/2000 in a national, heterogeneous, multi-server corporate enterprise environment. Apply advanced networking concepts in the analysis, study, & design of data networks. Analyze network characteristics (e.g., traffic, connect time, transmission speeds, packet sizes, & throughput) and recommend procurement, removals, & modifications to network components. Design and optimize network topologies and site configurations. Plan installations, transitions, & cutovers of network components and capabilities. May review existing network designs and capabilities with the goal of making refinements, reducing operating overhead, enhancing network throughput, & improving current network topologies.
