JOB DESCRIPTION:
Program Manager/Principal Engineer to execute Computer Security research projects in Advanced Computing Systems research, design, and development. Will perform analysis, design, simulation, experimentation, and prototyping of complex distributed systems and advanced software applications and algorithms. Lead projects involving multi-disciplinary teams. (including software engineers) and subcontractor management. Technical areas of interest include computer security, mobile ad hoc networks, optimization, embedded systems, agent-based computing, computing system architectures, and stochastic control. Required Experience: Experience in computer security, distributed systems/algorithms, agent-based computing, and/or networking. Must have strong research and management skills. Must have strong presentation skills with ability to interface directly with customers. Business development skills as well as technical rigor highly desired. Experience with leading software development technologies also very desirable (Java technologies, C/C++, XML, etc.). Applicants must have been subjected to a government security investigation and met eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
Phd in Computer Science, EE, or Applied Math with at least 3-5 years experience or M.S. with 10 years experience in advanced computing research and development. Will perform analysis, design, experimentation, and prototyping of an intrusion defense system for mobile ad hoc networks (emulated in a testbed and implemented in a MANET).
