JOB DESCRIPTION:
The adaptor to be developed would support a superset of the functionality which Summit's current, off-the-shelf Bloomberg adaptor supports. The client is looking to develop its own adaptor is because in its current state, the functionality can't be feasibly extended to support the full set of transactions they presently execute and anticipate executing. The clients would process transactions from a table-based queue in Oracle, not present in the Summit's adaptor. The new adaptor would be developed for Summit version 3.4.7 running on Solaris (SunOS) 5.8 with Oracle 9.2. The client would like to commence work in the middle of March. They would anticipate delivery of the new adaptor by fiscal year-end (end of June).
